penile implant

I hope this will end up read by some bloggers on Penile Implant or will appear there.
I had Coloplast Titan 3 piece implanted on April 27th, 2010, so I am 6 wks post op. I'm 80 yrs. I do not have any pictures, but I look pretty much loke Ben, on the PI Blog, pre & post op.
Someone commented that their husband had pain and a curve. I have a real curve to the right, which straightens some on inflation. I have quite intense aching from the left shaft base on up. The OTC pain meds do not help. The Model of the Titan I have does not seem like the ones advertised by Coloplast. Mine has a releaase mechanism which takes two fingers pressing from opposite sides of the valve. My surgeon seems to think all is well and is surprised at the speed of my healing, but I have some doubts about him, because I suspect he implanted a older model of the Titan.

Can anyone relate to my progess? Can I expect the pain to recede or will it be a lifetime malady.
Does the inflating and deflating mechanisms become easier to use aas time goes by? Does the pain at inflation diminish as time passes, and I do more inflations?
